In May 2004 I left the cosy confines of a career in BT, donned my backpack, boarded a plane and embarked on a traveling adventure around this diverse planet of ours. I kept in contact with the known world by way of the ever popular email newsletter. I say popular but having recieved quite a few of these myself in previous years, I wanted to put an extra effort in to make them at least a little interesting and insightful.
I’ll be reproducing the originals here so you can decide if I got even close. They’re exactly as I originally wrote them, grammatically warts and all - it’s challenging to get it right when you’re sat in a hot and humid internet cafe trying to pack your ideas into a short session!
