Pool competition winner!
April 2, 2008 – 5:57 pmFinally, after too many years to bear thinking about I won the annual pool competition held in the less than salubrious Riley’s club in Clapham. Unfortunately I gave the trophy to a drunken pal to look after who managed to stumble out of a cab later in the evening, spilling the solid glass trophy from her bag to the gutter. She was suitably apologetic but to be honest I think it looks better with large chunks missing from it!
